Nov 24, 2006 - Hi all, our support guys are still busy analyzing your activation. After running that installation, run the Kontakt 2.2.0 update installer. PC users: in step 1, delete the following registry trees using Start-Run-'regedit', OK.
Update: Did a full system recovery back to original install. The good news; Photoshop Elements and Premiere are back installed.
The bad news; still no way i can find to get the s/n's. The programs themselves don't provide them. Tried Magic Jelly Bean to no avail as well. Registering is a catch 22; can't get the s/n's online w/o registering but you can't register the product w/o the s/n's. On the phone w/ HP now but its late so I've got the B squad.
Have a feeling I won't make much progress until normal business hours tomorrow. Click to expand.Thanks.
Really appreciate the help. Back on the line with HP's A squad right now. Gotta say, the customer service folks I've talked since my 1st experience yesterday have not lived up to the caliber of that first rep. They keep trying to convince me that the programs are trial versions, which they are clearly not.
Ultimately, my new goal is to have them ship me hard copies of the software if they can't give me s/n's over the phone. They sell Elements and Premiere as not pre-installed options on the Dv series so I know they have the discs.
Problem solved, no thanks to HP or Adobe. The story is long but in the interest of saving time I'll just stick to the solution. Utimately, nothing that HP or Adobe did helped me at all. The solution turned out to be in a freeware program called. If you still have Elements and Premiere on your system but are looking to do a clean install or an MIR, download and run this program and it will locate all the product keys and serial numbers for you. Register the products through Adobe and then run the clean install.
You can then re-install Elements and Premiere using the acquired s/n's. If you are unlucky, as I was, and had already done the MIR, then you must do a full system recovery in order to get Elements and Premiere installed on the computer. From there you can repeat the steps I just mentioned.
Vsdc free video editor portable download. It was a HUGE pain in the but the only way I found that worked. Hope this helps anyone in the same situation.
